If you just want to enjoy yourself by grooving to funky disco tracks, this is the right place for you. Within these four workshops, we will explore the basics of Locking, which is a dance style to funk- and soul music that developed during the disco times in the nightclubs of Los Angeles. This edition will be focussed more on the disco grooves & the soulful part of Locking. You can expect oldschool party moves & expressing yourself with your body but also your soul.

The workshops are based on the idea that the essence of dance comes from enjoyment. Also in Locking there is not only grooving together or funky technique but also a lot of individual flavour and feeling of joy. Therefore, there will be enough space to explore also your own dance and to just surrender to the music within freestyle as well as working on some funky choreographies!

Like mentioned before, the workshops are all about having a good time, being in the moment and shaking it off! Everybody is welcome so, check your body at the door and just join the jam!
